ClearBlade, Elipsa to help industries create ‘no-code’ AI at the edge for operation

ClearBlade and Elipsa say a new partnership will bring digital transformation and operational efficiency to a wide range of industries by making it easier to deploy advanced artificial intelligence algorithms.

From manufacturing to transportation, oil and gas, agriculture, and utilities, companies will be able to use powerful tools to accelerate edge AI adoption while decreasing operational overhead. ClearBlade and Elipsa also say customers will be able to do so without the need for in-house domain expertise.

Artificial intelligence and related technologies promise to help enterprises and industries improve the lifespan of equipment and right-size fleets of vehicles, for example, by predicting failures and preventing outages. The combined solution will help customers to better their operations by providing edge solutions that gather, process, understand, inference, and automate the model deployment processes, executives said.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Elipsa empowering industrial companies to turn data into decisions,” said Eric Simone, CEO of ClearBlade. “Giving business units the freedom and control to deploy solutions without needing to involve software experts is transformational. It immediately gives them a better understanding of what is happening in the field.”

Elipsa has identified a few challenges faced by production plants — categorized as IoT’s three C’s — connectivity, compatibility, and complexity. The Elipsa IoT edge platform will demonstrate predictive maintenance insights to help ClearBlade customers address these issues while enabling data-driven decisions.

ClearBlade’s Intelligent Asset solution enables ingestion, normalization, and delivery of edge data to Elipsa’s edge-enabled predictive maintenance suite. This integration will allow organizations to monitor the edge deployment from a unified platform.

“We are excited to be working with a partner like ClearBlade that shares our vision of helping industrial organizations drive efficiency through plug-and-play predictive solutions. Our combined offering delivers a truly seamless view into an organization’s most critical operations” said Jeff Kimmel, co-founder and CEO of Elipsa.

ClearBlade recently won an achievement award from Compass Intelligence for its Intelligent Assets software.

The company also won the “Edge Computing Company of the Year” award from Compass Intelligence for the second year in a row in 2021, and the 2020 Compass Intel IoT Innovation award in intelligent transportation.
