Zenlayer, Digital Edge to launch edge one-stop cloud service hub in East & Southeast Asia
Zenlayer, an edge cloud service provider, and Digital Edge, a digital infrastructure provider in Asia, have recently joined forces through a memorandum of understanding (MoU). This joint venture is devoted to delivering edge cloud services in East and Southeast Asia.
The companies say the partnership offers local cloud and service providers a one-stop digital solution for various edge services. This solution helps users efficiently access global interconnectivity with reduced cost while improving application performance. For example, they say they can support future expansions with Digital Edge’s expanding geographical coverage, state-of-the-art data centers and energy-efficient solutions.
“Cloud is the fastest growing and highly important customer segment to us, especially in emerging markets,” stated Samuel Lee, the CEO at Digital Edge. “By partnering with Zenlayer, a leader in this space, we will combine our best services of cloud, networking, interconnection and data center into one comprehensive offering for our customers. This is definitely a win-win partnership.”
Zenlayer operates an edge infrastructure with 290 Points-of-Presence (PoPs) across 50 countries. Zenlayer will build new edge nodes in Digital Edge’s data centers as part of this collaboration. By leveraging Zenlayer’s global network backbone, Digital Edge can reliably connect with customers, services and users worldwide.

At the AWS Partner Awards Gala during re:Invent, Zenlayer won two awards, the “ISV Partner of the Year” and the “Marketplace Partner of the Year.” These awards were in recognition of its efforts to help customers innovate and construct solutions on AWS.
