Vecow employs latest Intel processors to advance its edge AI solutions

Vecow, a provider of embedded computing systems, has upgraded its edge AI platform range, including AI computing and high-performance fanless and expandable fanless systems with Intel Core processors (14th gen).

The company says the upgrade boosts efficiency in machine vision, robotic control, ADAS, mobile communication, smart manufacturing, in-vehicle computing, public security and other edge AI apps.

The latest Vecow Robust Edge AI Platform enables global partners to enhance their current embedded and edge computing solutions, according to Thomas Su, the Vecow’s vice president.

“This adds value to our customers and reduces their deployment costs,” comments Su.

The upgraded Robust Edge AI platform, with an Intel core processor (14th gen), provides up to 24 cores and 32 threads.

The company says it offers a 9% boost in CPU performance compared to the 13th Gen Intel Core processors. This advancement enhances power efficiency and productivity for IoT users.

Vecow’s latest edge AI platform utilizes Intel’s core technology, featuring an advanced performance hybrid architecture, explains Judy Hu, the product manager of Vecow’s embedded systems and platform division.

“Our product lineup, including RCX-3000 PEG, ECX-3000 PEG, ECX-3200, ECX-3000, VCM-1000, IVX-1000 Series and HEC-1000, establishes new benchmarks for performance and capability,” adds Hu.

Vecow says it specializes in creating concepts focusing on advanced technology and reliability. Their product range spans AI-ready systems, computing solutions, embedded systems, vehicle computing, single-board computers, multi-touch displays, frame grabbers, peripherals and design services tailored for applications such as machine vision, autonomous vehicles, robotics, public security and intelligent automation.

Earlier this year, Vecow unveiled the RCX-3000 PEG, a high-performance computing system for demanding tasks. The company says it balances power and efficiency and is ideal for embedded applications. The RCX-3000 PEG offers customizable input/output interfaces for diverse edge and AI applications.
