Deepx and Wind River push real-time edge AI for critical systems

Deepx and Wind River have partnered to create a hardware and software solution for next-generation edge AI applications in mission-critical industries such as aerospace, defense, industrial, and robotics.
The collaboration integrates Deepx’s advanced AI semiconductors with Wind River’s VxWorks RTOS and Helix Virtualization Platform to enhance safety, security, and performance. Companies can now accelerate AI to real-time or edge systems at lower costs, reducing complexity and development cycles.
Deepx specializes in on-device AI semiconductors that optimize performance, power efficiency, and cost for industries such as smart cities, surveillance, and AI servers.
Wind River’s VxWorks is a leading RTOS for secure, mission-critical systems, while the Helix Platform consolidates multiple systems into a single embedded system, streamlining safety certification and time-to-market.
