Zededa expands executive bench as edge AI adoption accelerates across industries
Zededa, a provider of edge management and orchestration software, expanded its leadership team with key C-suite appointments to meet growing global demand for edge AI solutions, including new roles in revenue, operations, and product management.
Kevin McGee joins as Chief Revenue Officer and will be responsible for all revenue operations, bringing experience from roles at Confluent, AWS, Okta and Oracle. John Jendricks joins as SVP and Chief Operations Officer, bringing operational expertise from leadership roles at Aviatrix, VMware and Cisco. Padraig Stapleton was promoted to SVP and Chief Product Officer to drive strategic product direction and customer engagement.
Major enterprise wins include partnerships with A.P. Moller – Maersk for IoT connectivity across its fleet and SLB for integrating edge AI into energy operations.
The company opened a new Middle East headquarters in Abu Dhabi six months ago, supported by strategic investors, to capitalize on the region’s rapid edge computing growth.
Zededa’s inaugural Edge AI Survey released in May revealed 97% of CIOs have edge AI on their roadmap, with security and hybrid cloud strategies as key drivers. The company demonstrated its platform’s ability to manage mission-critical operations in challenging environments, such as maritime and energy sectors.
