Duos expands into AI infrastructure with GPUaaS deal, Iowa site and CEO appointment

Duos Technologies Group entered into ~$200M non-binding LOI with Hydra Host to deploy a high-density NVIDIA GPU cluster projected to yield $176 million in revenue over 36 months.
Projected annual EBITDA is more than $40M, presuming GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) implementation and additional colocation revenue of $25M.
Duos lands a 10MW land parcel in Iowa for deployment of AI infrastructure, with space to deploy much more distributed capacity out to 75MW.
“This initial customer marks a pivotal step in accelerating the buildout of Duos Edge AI and strengthens our ability to execute on our distributed infrastructure strategy,” says Doug Recker, Chief Executive Officer. “We are now entering an exciting phase of execution, further reinforced by our recently announced LOI with Hydra Host, which underscores growing third-party demand for our distributed AI infrastructure model and validates the scalability of our platform. With secured power, rapid deployment capabilities, and expanding strategic partnerships, we believe Duos is well positioned to pursue high-value infrastructure opportunities. Our focus remains on disciplined expansion, capital-efficient growth, and delivering sustainable long-term value for our shareholders.”
The LOI validates Duos’ high-power edge data center (EDC) business, delivering rapid time-to-market and best-in-class power access for AI and high-performance computing.
Duos enhances modular EDCs and GPU hosting capabilities with the hiring of Doug Recker as CEO beginning April 1, 2026.
Hardware financing is also included through a structured partnership with Hydra Host to deliver deployments faster to meet the increasing AI compute demand.
The agreement is non-binding and subject to final terms, financing and customary closing conditions.
The Duos Edge AI division recently opened an Abilene data center to localize compute for West Texas schools back in January, 2026.
