Deepx and DeGirum join forces to deliver open, scalable edge AI platform

Deepx, an AI semiconductor manufacturer and DeGirum announced a strategic partnership to deliver high-performance, scalable edge AI solutions.
The partnership integrates Deepx‘s AI accelerators with DeGirum’s software tools, creating a developer-friendly ecosystem for edge AI deployment. Key industries targeted include surveillance, robotics, defense, and industrial automation.
“We are excited to offer our mutual customers a complete edge AI solution by integrating our DX processor family with DeGirum’s PySDK, Cloud Compiler, and AI Hub,” says Lokwon Kim, CEO of Deepx. “This collaboration expands access to edge AI tools in a unified, developer-friendly platform.”
Customers can deploy AI applications without being locked into proprietary platforms, with one year of free premium support for Deepx users. Developers can remotely benchmark AI models on Deepx hardware using DeGirum’s AI Hub and Cloud Compiler.
A co-developed reference platform featuring Deepx chips and DeGirum software will launch in Q4 2025. The partnership aims to simplify edge AI adoption and expand global access to advanced AI technologies.
Deepx recently partnered with Wind River to create a hardware and software solution for next-generation edge AI applications in mission-critical industries.
