SiMa.ai, a company specializing in machine learning system-on-chip platforms, highlights that it has been recognized in the “The AI Infrastructure Landscape, Q4 2023” report by Forrester, an independent research firm.

The company’s primary focus has been on providing purpose-built solutions for the edge that maximize both performance and power efficiency. The report emphasizes the significance of machine learning and artificial intelligence applications at the edge.

According to the Transparency Market Research report, the edge computing market is anticipated to be $76 billion by 2031. This growth can be attributed to the inherent advantages of edge computing, such as lower latency, improved performance, and better data privacy. These benefits are driving the increasing demand for AI capabilities across various sectors, including industrial, robotics, computer vision, and autonomous vehicles.

“We are honored to be included in the 2023 report on the AI Infrastructure landscape by Forrester, a leading, independent analyst firm,” says Krishna Rangasayee, founder and chief executive officer at SiMa.ai. “We’re proud of the dedication and work by our team to deliver purpose-built solutions for the edge that maximize performance without compromising power efficiency.”

Sima.ai recently launched Palette Edgematic, a tool that enables users to build and deploy their own AI models and computer vision workflows using a drag-and-drop, low-code approach. The goal of this tool is to simplify the development process and reduce the time required for developing advanced edge computing applications. The tool is designed to automate several development tasks, eliminating the necessity for manual coding and incorporating features like one-click compilation, building, and deployment.

“The rapid pace of AI innovation is only continuing to accelerate and research like this validates the value of AIML applications at the edge in industrial robotics, computer vision, and autonomous vehicles,” Rangasayee continues.

In addition, earlier this month, SiMa.ai announced a partnership with Supermicro, an IT solutions provider for AI, cloud, storage, and edge technologies. This collaborative effort between the two companies offers customers a scalable solution for increasing their video channels without the need to scale up host CPU performance.
