Palantir and NVIDIA turn rodeo into a live edge AI testbed

AI-powered automation software provider Palantir, TWG AI and Nvidia have partnered with Teton Ridge to bring real-time AI and computer vision to rodeo sports, improving experiences for athletes, fans and partners.
Teton Ridge is a western sports and entertainment company that has organized historical riders, animals and events data, leveraging Palantir Foundry and AI to access performance analytics enabled by advanced computer vision models.
NVIDIA AI infrastructure such as Holoscan and RTX PRO 6000 GPUs provide edge computing, crunching real-time data at the network’s edges to improve inefficient latency.
“We’re seeing tremendous opportunity at the intersection of sports technology and AI-driven analytics,” says Ryan Taylor, CRO at Palantir Technologies. “Palantir is proud to work with NVIDIA and TWG AI to bring real-time AI and data-driven insights to the rodeo arena with Teton Ridge. Together, we’re advancing the integrity, transparency, and accuracy of the sport for athletes and fans alike.”
The partnership will highlight the complexity of the sport as it studies how humans interact with animals in a live setting.
The AI element that Palantir adds is designed to provide greater transparency and accuracy and improve operational efficiency across sports. Edge AI is set to reinvent fan experiences and sports entertainment as we know it.
