Networking solutions provider Nexcom recently released the DFA 1163 Series, a 5G/NTN-ready solution that integrates multi-WAN failover, edge computing, and deployment readiness for Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) to ensure a resilient wireless connection.
Powered by the Intel Atom C3758R processor, with 8 cores and Intel QAT acceleration, the DFA 1163 provides efficient and secure edge computing. Key features will consist of 10GbE SFP+, twelve RJ45 Ports, optional PoE+ and full-spectrum 5G (FR1 and FR2), WiFi 6, and NTN connectivity for working in cellular dead zones.
