Eurotech’s five-year spot in Gartner’s IIoT Magic Quadrant reinforces edge computing efforts

Eurotech, a provider of edge computing systems, has announced its inclusion in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for global industrial IoT platforms. This marks the fifth consecutive time Eurotech has appeared in the list, highlighting its consistent excellence and innovation in the IIoT realm.

Eurotech is among the 18 companies recognized in the research document.

A recent Gartner report emphasizes the growing significance of IIoT platforms in business settings. It underscores that these platforms serve as vital data aggregators with advanced analytics capabilities, facilitating the integration of industrial data. The report indicates that Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and software leaders implementing IIoT platforms seek guidance on which vendors excel in connecting operational technology (OT) software systems with information technology solutions.

Paul Chawla, CEO of Eurotech, expresses his appreciation for the company’s consistent recognition: “Being acknowledged once again by Gartner not only reaffirms Eurotech’s position as a leader in edge AI and IoT solutions but also highlights our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our customers. This recognition reflects the dedication of our entire team.”

The company says inclusion in the Gartner Magic Quadrant serves as a significant benchmark for customers and partners, offering a dependable standard for selecting technology providers.

Robert Andres, Eurotech’s Chief Strategy Officer, also comments on this achievement: “We greatly value our continued presence in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for global IIoT platforms. This recognition inspires us to maintain our mission of delivering robust, secure, and open edge AIoT hardware, software, and services, driving us to innovate and excel further in our field.”

Eurotech integrates hardware, software, and services to deliver building blocks for full Internet of Things solutions including embedded boards, edge computers, HPEC, advanced data and device management solutions, and smart sensors.

Elsewhere, the company recently announced a new use case for its integrated edge hardware and software with Syntegon, a provider of machines and systems for the pharmaceutical, food, and MedTech industries.
