Edge computing in Canada: an interview with Zenlayer + Hut 8

Hut 8 High Performance Computing is bullish on creating future-forward HPC infrastructure that serves enterprise-level traditional data center clients with cloud, co-location, and managed services. The pair signed a partnership deal in August 2022, with the aim of bringing industry-leading edge computing solutions to Web 3.0, blockchain, and enterprise customers.

EdgeIR brings both companies together to discuss the progress that has been made since the collaboration announcement, the growth trajectory and the the work being done in Canada in the edge infrastructure development space as industries such as agriculture, healthcare, and smart cities continue to see increased integration of edge computing to process data generated by IoT devices, and deal with the roll out of 5G and AI at the edge.
