The landscape of edge computing is marked by a surge in strategic appointments, reflecting the industry’s rapid growth. Leading the charge, tech companies are appointing seasoned executives to spearhead their edge initiatives.

Colohouse hires Aaron Pullin as CFO

Data center colocation provider Colohouse has announced the appointment of Aaron Pullin as the company’s new chief financial officer (CFO). Pullin most recently served as CFO of Honest Networks, a New York-based internet service provider. Previously, he held the position of CFO at NS1, a software-driven internet traffic management company that, earlier this year, was acquired by IBM.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Colohouse in this pivotal period of its growth journey. Colohouse’s innovative solutions, coupled with the vibrant energy and customer-focused vision embodied by Jeremy Pease and the entire leadership team, truly resonate with me,” said Pullin.

BrainChip welcomes new CTO

BrainChip Holdings has announced the hiring of M. Anthony (Tony) Lewis as the new chief technology officer (CTO). At the same time, the company revealed the planned retirement of co-founder and CTO Peter Van der Made which is scheduled for the end of the year.

“It has been an amazing journey and a labor of love to bring BrainChip from a concept to a leader in the AI space,” says Peter van Der Made, co-founder of Brainchip.

“I am pleased to work closely with Tony on transition and handing over the reins to a well-qualified team for BrainChip’s future growth.”

Inseego adds channel sales experience

5G edge cloud solutions provider Inseego Corp has added Keri Bolding to the company in the newly-created role of SVP of global channel sales and distribution. Bolding will oversee the company’s global channel sales and distribution strategy, reporting to Inseego’s Chief Revenue Officer, Steve Harmon.

Bolding has over 20 years of experience in channel sales and product distribution, and was most recently the global vice president of channel sales at Sierra Wireless. Prior to joining Sierra Wireless, she served as director of channel sales at Getac USA from 2017 to 2021.

“I am especially excited to join Inseego at this important juncture,” said Bolding. “The Inseego portfolio of both indoor and outdoor 5G Fixed Wireless Access solutions is well positioned to enable our ecosystem of partners to grow their businesses by capturing new business in the rapidly growing Fixed Wireless Access market.”

OSS makes board changes

One Stop Systems, a rugged high performance compute provider for AI, ML and sensor processing at the edge, has appointed Mitchell H. Herbets as a member of its board of directors.

Concurrent with the appointment, OSS’ board of directors adopted a resolution to temporarily increase the size of the board from eight members to nine members, and decrease the size of the board down to seven members. Herbets’ appointment completes the nine-person board.

“Mitch brings extensive strategic and technical experience as an executive serving the technology and defense industries, which is highly complementary to our corporate mission and focus,” stated OSS chairman, Ken Potashner. “We look forward to his guidance and advice as we increasingly engage with new military opportunities.”

New VPs at Agile Analog, groundcover, Flex Logix

Agile Analog has appointed former GUC Europe President Christelle Faucon as its new VP of sales. Faucon has over 25 years’ experience of working across the global semiconductor ecosystem following a Master’s Degree in Electronics Engineering.

Cloud-native application startup groundcover has announced the appointment of ex-Coralogix, New Relic and Dynatrace executive Paul Trebe as VP of sales. Trebe will help groundcover grow across key verticals while deepening engagement with new customers, according to the company. Trebe served as the VP of sales at Coralogix, senior sales director at New Relic and partner sales director at Dynatrace.

Jayson Bethurem has joined Flex Logix Technologies as VP marketing and business development. He worked in engineering roles at several startups using FPGAs in his designs. Bethurem also worked for six years as a senior product line manager at Xilinx, managing around a third of the total product line working with multiple customers.
