Advantech and Edge Impulse join forces to strip complexity from edge AI development

Advantech, a provider of embedded computing solutions, announced a collaboration with Edge Impulse to accelerate edge AI innovation using Qualcomm Dragonwing QCS6490 processor.
The partnership aims to simplify the development and deployment of edge AI applications through an integrated, user-friendly platform.
Edge Impulse provides end-to-end solutions for data collection, model training, and deployment, combined with Advantech’s robust hardware platforms.
Advantech introduced the AOM-DK2721 developer kit, featuring advanced connectivity and machine learning capabilities for rapid prototyping and deployment.
The collaboration is designed to reduce complexity, shorten development cycles, and accelerate time-to-market for edge AI solutions. The AOM-DK2721 developer kit will be commercially available in Q3 2025.
