Seco launches hub to unify edge AI deployment

Seco, an IoT and AI solution provider launched the Seco Application Hub, an app marketplace to simplify AI development and deployment on edge devices.
The Hub offers over 150 AI/ML applications for sectors like industrial automation, healthcare, smart mobility, and retail. It addresses challenges in deploying AI at the edge, such as hardware fragmentation and software integration.
Users can search, optimize, validate, and deploy AI models across various hardware architectures in minutes. The platform supports multiple chipsets (Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, etc.) and offers long-term enterprise support.
“Our customers are eager to innovate with AI, and through our solutions, we’ve put powerful, AI-ready hardware in their hands,” says Fausto Di Segni, head of IoT and AI at Seco. “The challenge has been bridging the gap between that hardware and deploying effective AI models. With the Seco Application Hub, we’re making that process radically simpler. We’re enabling businesses to move beyond the hardware and easily deploy the intelligence that will transform their products and operations.”
The Hub includes a curated library of software containers, sample applications, deployment guides, and a revenue-sharing model for developers. Integration with Seco’s Clea framework enables applications like predictive maintenance, diagnostic imaging, and smart city services.
Strategic collaborations with industry leaders enhance the ecosystem, reducing time-to-market for secure, data-driven services.
