Premio launches rugged Jetson Orin edge computer for harsh AI deployments

Rugged edge AI and embedded computing provider Premio introduced the JCO-1000-ORN, a small form factor fanless ruggedized AI edge computer built for real time inferencing in harsh environments, powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX and Nano modules.
The JCO-1000-ORN is compatible with the NVIDIA JetPack SDK 6.2 to facilitate AI model deployment for industrial automation, intelligent vision, and autonomous mobility applications.
It’s equipped with a reliable, shock-resistant aluminum housing that operates in extreme temperatures (-20°C to 55°C ) and harsh conditions, delivering up to 157 TOPS of AI performance.
There are two configurations to choose from: model A, for general industrial use, and; model B with enhanced features such as a higher bandwidth that is particularly suited for camera-rich applications such as in transportation and smart infrastructure.
“Physical AI requires computing that is not only intelligent, but resilient and mobile as computing demands shift away from cloud resources to on-device requirements,” says Dustin Seetoo, VP of product marketing at Premio. “With the JCO-1000-ORN and NVIDIA Jetson Orin Modules, we’re delivering a powerful edge AI solution in a ruggedized, deploy-anywhere form – empowering developers and system integrators to bring real-time intelligence closer to physical operations in their autonomous applications.”
Features include multiple I/O connectivity options (USB 3.2, HDMI, CAN bus, GbE/2.5GbE), modular expansion (supports M.2 slots for SSD storage, 5G/4G, Wi-Fi), and optional remote management via Allxon.
Balancing cloud intelligence with edge autonomy, the JCO-1000-ORN drives next-gen applications that depend on real-time decision-making through multimodal AI models.
Model A is available today and Model B will be launched in Q4 2025 to address a variety of industrial IoT applications and vision-based deployment requirements.
The JCO-1000-ORN offers a scalable, rugged solution for OEMs and industrial AI providers, accelerating time-to-market for AI-driven automation and computer vision.
