OSS to build AI edge systems for harsh maritime combat zones

One Stop Systems (OSS) has partnered with U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) to develop rugged high performance edge computers (HPeC) for maritime environments.
The collaboration aims to enhance situational awareness, decision-making, and operational capabilities of U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF) using AI and ML technologies.
OSS will leverage its expertise in rugged, enterprise-class compute systems for extreme conditions to support USSOCOM’s strategic initiatives.
The solutions will enable faster data processing, improved cognitive dominance, and more precise mission execution in austere environments.
“Our collaboration with USSOCOM will provide warfighters with more sophisticated and intelligent tools to improve their performance in increasingly complex and dynamic combat scenarios, thus reinforcing their competitive advantage on the battlefield,” commented Robert Kalebaugh, OSS VP of Sales. “SOF’s role within the U.S. Department of Defense continues to evolve across echelons, from man-worn to command center operations, and OSS is uniquely qualified to support the needs of U.S. Special Operation Forces.”
This partnership aligns with OSS’s strategy to expand its offerings and establish relationships across the U.S. Department of Defense.
OSS’s focus on enterprise-class compute in hostile maritime, land, air, and space domain exemplifies how defense use cases are pushing the boundaries of what edge systems must endure and deliver, while also accelerating commercial innovation and validation of edge AI in the most demanding conditions.
OSS recently secured $6.5M defense deal to power AI-driven tactical edge operations.
