Leaseweb expands offering to include VMware vSphere and HCI solutions in Canada

Leaseweb, a cloud service provider and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provider announced the launch of its Leaseweb VMware vSphere and HCI solutions in Canada. The company says it provides customers an easy way to migrate business-critical applications to a secure, reliable platform with data in Canada.

The Leaseweb VMware vSphere is a single-tenant infrastructure solution specifically designed to enable organizations to deploy virtualization environments of various sizes into their infrastructure without a long-term investment or complicated setup procedures. The solution will also be hosted in Canadian data centers and allows customers access to the virtualization benefits of greater scalability, elasticity and performance, Leaseweb says.

“Our mission is to make the transition to cloud easier with a platform that will meet their unique business and workload-specific needs,” says Roger Brulotte, the CEO of Leaseweb Canada. “We are pleased to expand our VMware vSphere and HCI offering in Canada to help customers quickly and securely move critical applications from on-premises or other hosted environments to a single-tenant infrastructure, which frees up their internal teams to focus on managing and growing their business.”

With the Leaseweb VMware vSphere solution, the company says customers can easily add and remove computing capacity and storage and dedicated hardware firewalls and load balancers to match changing requirements over time.

Leaseweb says the launch of its VMware vSphere in Canada is the latest offering in a range of cloud services the company has rolled out this year.

The company says it has provided services to customers worldwide for mission-critical websites and internet applications since 1997. It offers services such as public cloud, private cloud, dedicated servers, colocation, content delivery network and cyber security services in 80,000 servers across Europe, Asia, Australia and North America.
