Lantronix targets edge AI bottlenecks with no-code orchestration platform

Lantronix has launched EdgeFabric.ai, a no-code edge AI platform aimed at facilitating and speeding up edge AI application development on its Open-Q System-on-Module (SOM) solutions.

The platform allows companies to go from AI prototype to production in minutes, with a focus on industries such as smart surveillance, drones, transportation and defense.

EdgeFabric.ai delivers drag-and-drop simplicity, real-time visualization and pre-defined templates for common use cases to automate the myriad of backend tasks that are required to deploy machine learning models.

“With EdgeFabric.ai, we’re opening the door for organizations that want to adopt AI at the edge but lack in-house expertise,” says Saleel Awsare, president and CEO of Lantronix. “This platform exemplifies our evolution from hardware supplier to solutions partner, giving customers faster innovation cycles, lower costs and scalable deployment options.”

Easily integrated with Lantronix hardware and the latest AI environments, neural-network optimization software maximizes performance across CPUs/GPUs/DSPs/NPUs.

It provides software design tools to accelerate the development process and ensure production level quality code.

The global edge AI market is projected to grow significantly, and Lantronix aims to capitalize on this by reducing adoption barriers and accelerating time-to-market.

Lantronix was recently selected by Teal Drones for use in the U.S. Army’s Short-Range Reconnaissance (SRR) Program.
