CBP to spotlight edge computing and seeks industry input at FY26 tech forum

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is conducting a virtual industry day on October 22, 2025, from 2:00pm-3:30pm EST focused on edge computing with the Office of Information and Technology (OIT).
The event is intended to both showcase what CBP is currently doing with edge computing, and also promote partnerships and other ways to work together in developing new approaches for OT.
Industry partners will be able to collaborate with CBP and hear about existing edge computing use cases as well as come up with ideas for developing new implementations.
Vendors are able to register here and can elect to do demonstrations on solutions that meet what CBP expressed they require during the event. The meeting is for informational purposes; there is no RFP and no commitment to award contracts.
This event is a component of the CBP Industry Partnership and Outreach Program Office (IPOP) for FY26.
