ASUS IoT and CTHINGS.CO unite hardware and orchestration in new smart city edge stack

ASUS IoT and Cthings.co have entered into a partnership to offer scalable edge AI and IoT applications for secure, energy-efficient and simplified deployments.
The partnership features the integration of ASUS IoT gateways with Cthings.co’s Orchestra platform, which includes real-time analytics, predictive insights and operational efficiencies.
Some key solutions are smart reverse-vending machines and IoT-based multifunctional smart poles for urban infrastructure, as well as other smart city projects including smart streetlights with sensors for air quality, traffic and pedestrian monitoring.

Cthings.co specializes in edge computing, digital twins and secure cloud platforms to help improve operation efficiency and scalability. ASUS IoT offers industry-grade hardware such as the PE100A, and edge AI computer based on NVIDIA Jetson to up performance.
The partnership seeks to expedite digital transformation, streamline operations and build more intelligent, safer and environmentally friendly cities.
At the beginning of the year ASUS IoT leveraged NVIDIA Jetson Orin to double GenAI performance for edge applications.
