Armada partners with VAST Data to build distributed, sovereign AI infrastructure

Edge infrastructure solutions provider Armada joined as a member of the VAST Cosmos Community to host distributed, private, global AI factories in collaboration with VAST Data.
The joint solution features the integration of Armada’s Galleon modular data centers and edge platform with VAST’s AI operating system to provide scalable, secure, and consistent AI infrastructure.
AI factories can run in remote, regulated and distributed environments with modular data center and unified data fabric.
“AI infrastructure alone does not create an AI factory,” says Uday Tennety, VP, product and partnerships at Armada. “By combining VAST Data’s unified deployable AI infrastructure and disaggregated data architecture, with our GPU-as-a-Service software and modular data centers, we now enable organizations to industrialize AI across distributed and sovereign environments at scale.”
Armada Edge Platform enables GPU-as-a-Service and seamless data orchestration between core and regional edge AI factories.
The offering enables AI workloads such as real-time edge inference, large-scale model training, autonomous systems and healthcare AI.
Sovereign AI factories allow organizations to establish regional deployment for regulatory and data residency compliance, while retaining global connectivity.
This collaboration helps minimize operational complexity, accelerate deployment and improve performance and compliance for AI systems.
