Trilogy Networks’ Woodard to join Rural Wireless Association board

Trilogy Networks founder, president and CEO George Woodard has been named to the board of directors of the Rural Wireless Association. The board elections were held during RWA’s Virtual Annual Meeting in September. As a member of the RWA’s board of directors, George will serve a three-year term helping to advise and guide the RWA in its efforts to promote wireless opportunities for rural telecommunication companies.

“The Rural Wireless Association’s mission is to advocate for small rural carriers and to help them continue to deliver reliable service and advanced technologies to their customers,” explains the RWA’s new president, Jana Wallace. “Under George’s leadership, Trilogy Networks and the Rural Cloud Initiative have made tremendous strides toward bridging the technology gap in rural America. We look forward to his insight on our board and are delighted with his representation and guidance as the RWA representative on the FCC Precision Agriculture Task Force.”

“I’m immensely proud to join the board of the Rural Wireless Association,” said George. “The RWA is doing important work to ensure rural America has access to critical wireless technologies. I look forward to working with the RWA and my fellow board members to continue those efforts.”
