Rakuten Symphony and Tejas Networks partner to break telecom lock-in with Open RAN

Rakuten Symphony and Tejas Networks announced a strategic partnership to develop integrated Open RAN solutions and expand 4G/5G networks globally, including in India.
Rakuten Symphony’s cloud-native software and orchestration capabilities will integrate with Tejas Networks‘ 4G/5G radio technology. The partnership will deliver open, flexible, and high-performing network solutions to meet the evolving telecom landscape.
Rakuten Symphony leverages achievements from government-subsidized R&D projects to drive Open RAN innovation and next-gen communication networks. The company focuses on reimagining telecom with open interface platforms, enabling faster deployment of advanced mobile services.
Both companies aim to modernize mobile networks and diversify supply chain ecosystems through their collaboration.
