Blaize and Yotta launch $56M edge AI surveillance network across South Asia

Blaize, an AI-enabled edge computing chip company and Yotta have teamed up on a $56M AI-based video surveillance project across South Asia, with roll-out expected to last through 2026.
The project calls for conversion of more than 250,000 cameras using Blaize’s AI platform and Yotta’s edge-to-cloud hybrid AI infrastructure to address public safety and security.
Key features include AI-based Video Surveillance as a Service (VSaaS), Real-time edge AI analytics for traffic and safety and can scale to a national level smart infrastructure solution. Yotta also plans to expand its VSaaS platform beyond India into the Middle Eastern region.
“Blaize’s partnership with Yotta marks a new chapter in Hybrid AI infrastructure, bringing programmability, intelligence, and security to scale,” says Dinakar Munagala, co-founder and CEO of Blaize. “With the Blaize AI Platform and Yotta’s infrastructure, we’re not only delivering real-time analytics for public safety and enterprises in India but also establishing a scalable model that can be replicated worldwide.”
The Blaize AI platform delivers the fundamental leaps needed to unlock widespread innovation including a bespoke chip built for ML that securely processes data and learns from it.
Both companies plan to modernize cloud-native intelligence for security operations at governments and enterprises.
This past July, Blaize landed a $120M contract with Starshine Computing Power Technology to deploy scalable, energy-efficient hybrid AI infrastructure across APAC.
