AlgoFace and Unigen bring scalable face AI to edge for real-time privacy

AlgoFace and Unigen, a global provider of embedded computing solutions, announced a strategic partnership to integrate scalable face AI infrastructure with hardware solutions.

The partnership debuted recently at ISC West 2025 and Del Mar Electronics & Manufacturing Show, showcasing real-time video anonymization using AlgoFace’s Face Redaction SDK on Unigen’s edge-ready hardware platforms.

The collaboration aims to expand beyond face redaction, incorporating AlgoFace’s full suite of Face AI capabilities, including 2D/3D facial analysis, eye tracking, and face animation. Unigen stated in a press release that it sees this as a leap forward in delivering complete edge AI solutions.

These solutions target privacy-conscious, AI-powered applications across industries like smart cities, healthcare, retail, and industrial automation.

“We are excited to grow our partnership with AlgoFace,” says Paul W. Heng, Founder and CEO of Unigen. “Our joint efforts are already proving that high-performance AI doesn’t have to come at the cost of privacy or efficiency. Together, we’re building solutions that can scale across industries and use cases.”

The companies plan to showcase further innovations at upcoming 2025 conferences and develop turnkey hardware-software solutions for real-world deployment.
